LANGHORNE, PA — Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center has announced the addition of Dr. Tej Kokroo, MD, MBA, as its new medical director.
Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Kokroo is affiliated with Trinity Health’s St. Mary Medical Center, serving as the chairman of its Quality Health Alliance. This organization is a clinically integrated network and accountable care organization built in partnership with the hospital.
He is also associate medical director at St. Mary Rehabilitation Hospital.
His appointment follows an ownership change at Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, which is part of Oxford Enhanced Senior Living, formerly known as the Attleboro Community. As a part of the ownership change, a significant upgrade is planned at the facility, which maintains a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
“It’s an exciting time at Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center,” said Danielle Koons, regional director of market development at Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports the facility.
“Dr. Kokroo is highly respected throughout the area for his medical expertise in both acute and post-acute settings and his business background; my colleagues and I at Marquis have known him for years. He is the perfect fit to lead Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in this new chapter.”
Oxford Enhanced Senior Living also includes Oxford Crossings, a personal care component featuring a memory care unit. The facilities offer 415 skilled nursing and personal care units.
Located at 300 E. Winchester Ave., the skilled nursing facility provides post-hospital, short-term rehab, and long-term residential care.
