Chef at New Providence, N.J., Skilled Nursing Facility to Lead Free-Admission Event
NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J., Feb. 11, 2022 — There’s no better time than American Heart Month to learn more about heart-healthy cooking. Join Spring Grove Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for a virtual “Eat Smart for Your Heart: Live Cooking Demo” on Friday, Feb. 18, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Chef Kenneth Black of the New Providence skilled nursing facility will lead the free-admission event.
“Eat Smart for Your Heart” is being held in collaboration with Oakland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Bergen County and co-sponsored by Atlantic Health System’s community health department. A registered dietitian from Oakland will join Chef Black in providing tips on healthy food options for cardiac health.
