Feb. 17: Collingswood to Host Better Breathers Support Group Meeting
Free-Admission Virtual Event Held in Partnership with American Lung Association
You’re invited! Collingswood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Rockville will host a Better Breathers Support Group Meeting, via Zoom, on Thursday, Feb. 17, from 1 to 2 p.m. Open to the public, the free-admission event is being held in partnership with the American Lung Association’s Better Breathers Club, Montgomery County Chapter.
Linda Lennon, RT, program director of respiratory therapy at the skilled nursing facility, will lead the “How Can I Manage My Breathlessness: Techniques, Habits, Control & Position” themed discussion. Lennon’s presentation will address a range of topics including how to make one’s own flutter device to promote bronchial hygiene.

The American Lung Association’s Better Breathers Club Program has been connecting people living with lung disease to education, support and each other in communities around the country for over 40 years. The Montgomery County Chapter offers stimulating guest speakers, problem-solving discussions and social activities.
