Collingswood Launches New In-Facility Ventilator Unit

Collingswood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Rockville, MD, celebrated the opening of its new 20-bed Ventilator Unit, the first of its kind in the area. This unit, directed by board-certified pulmonologists Dr. Safy John and Dr. Ajit Kuruvilla, offers specialized care for patients with ventilator and tracheostomy needs, supported by 24/7 respiratory therapy and in-house hemodialysis. This addition is part of Collingswood’s recent multi-million-dollar modernization and enhances its comprehensive specialty care services, including cardiac rehab and chronic kidney disease management.
