Canterbury Rehab & Healthcare Opens In-Facility Dialysis Unit

Canterbury Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Richmond recently inaugurated its cutting-edge in-facility Dialysis Unit, the first of its kind in the Richmond market, offering services for ventilator and tracheostomy dependent patients. Under the direction of nephrologist Dr. Yahya Imran Fatani, affiliated with Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Medical Center, the unit signifies a significant advancement in skilled nursing care. Operating in partnership with Nova Dialysis, it complements Canterbury’s chronic kidney disease management program led by nephrologist Dr. Sajid Naveed, amidst the facility’s ongoing modernization efforts.
