Vibrant Red Illuminates 80 Skilled Nursing Facilities in Support of Women’s Heart Health
National Wear Red Day saw 80 communities supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services participating in a show of solidarity for women’s cardiovascular health. Marquis partners installed red fluorescent lights at skilled nursing and senior living facilities across seven states, sparked by a colleague’s suggestion. Nearly 30 facilities have become American Heart Association certified for heart failure treatment, with ongoing efforts to expand this number. While Heart Month has concluded, the commitment to raising awareness about cardiovascular health persists throughout the year, aiming to address and support various cardiac needs within communities.
